This was the very first manga I have ever read. It was definitely an interesting experience. There's not many words to read because the story is told through the drawings. I loved the anime series, Attack on Titan and was hungry for more of the story once the anime ended.

The story was a little confusing to start with, but it was most likely due to my lack of ever reading a comic like writing or manga writing. Once I got it all figured out, it was very good and before I knew it, I was at the end of the book.

I am seriously considering going to Barnes and Noble to get the next one right now, but I have so much homework to do that I don't want to do, but it is a good read before bed kind of book for me.

Anywho, I give this five stars. Go read it now, if you're into manga and anime. Even of you aren't into it, you may be pleasantly surprised.

  1. Attack on Titan is one of my favorite animes... EVER! I've read all of the released manga volume, except this one. I think this is a spinoff to the real series? I'm still not sure, but I'll be sure to do more research. Great review, and I'm liking the anime reviews :D
